Log In and Access the Platform During the Preview Days: Don’t Delay!

We encourage you to bookmark the virtual platform link for quick access each day, but you can also access the link from the ASH website. You will need to log in using your unique ASH username and password that you used to register for the meeting. If you have forgotten your password, the quickest way to log in is to use the password reset link.

As a reminder, for the best user experience and streaming quality, we recommend using Google Chrome. DO NOT use Internet Explorer. You may contact us if you have difficulty accessing the platform or any other questions. You can also review the meeting’s FAQs for fast answers to common questions.

Tune in Early: Scientific Workshops @ ASH (formerly known as Friday Scientific Workshops)

These workshops will involve interactive discussions covering the latest scientific developments in a particular field of hematology. Each workshop will feature pre-recorded talks that will be followed by live Q&A with the speakers and moderators during the times specified in the schedule. Playback of presentations from each workshop will be available for 24 hours ONLY!

Annual Meeting Kick-Off: Join Dr. Fauci during a special Fireside Chat with ASH President Dr. Stephanie Lee (December 5 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time)

ASH will kick off the 62nd ASH Annual Meeting with Drs. Lee and Fauci discussing the outlook for COVID-19 in the historical context of other coronavirus pandemics, thoughts on vaccines and the potential duration of immunity, and implications for people with hematologic conditions. Be sure to log in to the virtual platform early to ensure you have access to this exclusive content.

Plan Your Schedule: Download the ASH Annual Meeting Mobile App

Start browsing the entire event program to bookmark sessions or speakers of interest. Available for both iOS and Android (search for “ASH 2020”), the app will enable you to synchronize your bookmarked sessions with the annual meeting’s platform schedule, so you can build your personal schedule online faster. Bookmark sessions by tapping the calendar icon on the meeting app. Note that full access to the mobile app data and meeting materials will be available only to registered virtual meeting attendees. Please accept all app updates as they become available to access the latest content on the app during the meeting.

Complete your profile to network with others

The best way to interact with others during the virtual meeting is to build your online profile on the networking application. ASH has done some of the work for you by pre-populating information based on your registration, but you can add more information about yourself to help guide your networking recommendations. Upload your headshot photo and create a headline for yourself that will help others to understand your interest in networking. Your headline might be your topic focus or something clever to encourage people to connect with you. To access your profile, from the home page of the platform, click the “Networking” tab from the top menu and select “Connect with Participants” from the drop-down menu. Then look for the “Profile” icon on the top right-hand corner, followed by “Edit Profile” to add more about yourself. If you do just one thing, please add your photo.

Networking is fun and easy!

Many feel that virtual meetings can be a lonely experience, so ASH has created ways for participants to feel connected to more than 30,000 others participating in the meeting. There are lots of ways to connect with other participants from around the world. Be sure to check out the virtual platform’s Networking or ASH Central pages to explore innovative ways to take a break from the science and connect with fellow attendees.

Connect with Participants

Find others who are also attending the meeting to engage in direct instant message chat, set up one-on-one virtual video chats, or organize group discussions for up to 50 people.

Watch with Friends and Colleagues

This feature is unique to the ASH annual meeting and allows participants to watch sessions with other attendees. Invite your mentees, collaborators, or friends to watch together so you can share your thoughts in real time!

Hallway Conversations

Some of the best impromptu conversations happen in the hallways between sessions during an in-person meeting. This year participate in casual, discussion-board style conversations with large groups of attendees by visiting the Hallway Conversations page. There will be pre-set topics available for attendees to engage on a variety of scientific and non-scientific topics. Don’t see a topic that interests you? You can also start your own conversations!

Visit the Virtual Exhibit Hall and Pick Up Your Virtual Meeting Bag

Make time in your schedule to visit the state-of-the-art virtual exhibit hall at the 2020 ASH Annual Meeting to see a showcase of the latest technology and research in hematology. The exhibit hall offers an opportunity to learn about a wide range of products and services offered by exhibitors, including pharmaceutical companies, medical suppliers, publishers, nonprofit organizations, and clinical diagnostic and research-based companies. Take advantage of the opportunity to interact and engage with exhibitors in real time. You will find product theaters, satellite symposia, the new pharmaceutical pipeline and clinical trials directory, and new corporate-sponsored focus on poster sessions.
