Scientific Program
Scientific Program sessions will consist of didactic presentations followed by panel discussions and a question-and-answer period with all of the speakers.
Education Program
Education Program sessions will consist of didactic presentations followed by panel discussions and a question-and-answer period with all of the speakers.
General Sessions
These signature sessions are designed to be of interest to a broad and diverse audience and include the prestigious Plenary Scientific Session, Best of ASH, and the Presidential Symposium. Many of the General Sessions also honor distinguished leaders in the field through awards and special lectures.
Special-Interest Sessions
These smaller sessions provide the opportunity for ASH’s various communities to focus on specific topics of interest, ranging from coping with physician stress and burnout, to counseling fellows on careers in hematology, to the impact of ASH’s international outreach programs.
Trainee Activities
These offerings, include ASH-a-Palooza and the Trainee Didactic Sessions, provide content relevant to the interests of undergraduates, medical and graduate students, residents, and fellows.
Oral and Poster Sessions
These sessions offer opportunities to learn more about abstracts selected for oral and poster presentations.

- Friday Satellite Symposia
FSS are industry-supported, CME-certified symposia. These sessions are not part of the official ASH annual meeting program and are planned solely by the sponsoring company. ASH appreciates its corporate and nonprofit partners for their participation in FSS. The Society values its partnerships and the supportive role that members of this community play in an effort to provide hematologists with quality educational programs.
