To combat the significant challenges faced by hematology trainees during the COVID-19 pandemic, ASH is proud to announce the ASH Hematology Review Series. This free series is designed for fellows preparing to take the internal medicine hematology certification examination (to be offered in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021) or those desiring a comprehensive update.
The ASH Hematology Review Series will air two episodes every week through October 2020 leading up to the Board Exams. At the beginning of each week, a webinar will feature on-demand lectures presented by subject matter experts. At the end of the week, the second webinar will supplement material covered earlier in the week through a live study session, where participants will discuss board exam questions and seek clarification on that week’s topic..
The Hematology Review Series will feature the subject matter experts serving as faculty instructors. Each 60-90-minute recorded lecture will be made available on a weekly basis.
Live Virtual Study Sessions
Each recorded lecture will be accompanied by a 45-minute live virtual interactive study session to review and discuss board questions, to be held at 6:00 p.m. EDT each Friday following the release of the lecture. These study sessions will be conducted via Zoom, and will require participants to register in advance for the webinar. The virtual study session may or may not be led by the faculty instructor featured in the week's recorded lecture. However, a subject matter expert will be in attendance.
The lecture recordings covering malignant hematology topics will not feature accompanying study sessions.
