Take Action in Support of Federal Research Funding
With Congress unable to complete work on any spending measures prior to the start of the 2025 fiscal year (FY) that began on October 1, congressional leaders passed – and President Biden signed into law – a temporary funding measure to avoid a government shutdown. Also known as a continuing resolution (CR), this temporary funding measure will keep the federal government operating at FY 2024 spending levels through March 14.

Additionally, shortly after taking office in January, President Trump issued a number of executive actions impacting research and public health that have created uncertainty and confusion among the research community.

Stop Medicare Physician Pay Cuts
Despite Medicare physician reimbursement cuts being mitigated year after year, Congress must continue to act to prevent future cuts; until there is long-term reform, we know that the conversion factor will continue to be cut.

Contact Your Legislators to Address Drug Shortages in Hematology and Oncology Care 
Drug shortages are reaching an all-time high in hematology and oncology care. ASH continues to keep members apprised of shortages and work with Congress, federal agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure continued access to safe and effective hematologic drugs. We encourage you to share information about any specific shortages you may be encountering in the letters.
