Collaborating in the Virtual World

In 2025, a new virtual platform was built to facilitate networking, education, collaboration, and innovation, as part of the #Fight4Hematology’s aim to foster community. In the fall, ASH Connections was piloted among a community of medical educators, including the current cohort of the Medical Educators Institute, with a broader launch planned for the spring of 2026, when the platform will welcome additional communities.

Igniting Innovation, Investment, and Entrepreneurship

Seeking to spark and support innovation in hematology, ASH launched ASH IGNITE, a platform that provides practical resources for commercialization of discovery and connects entrepreneurial scientists with investors. By year’s end, 160 people had joined the platform.

Combating Misinformation, Providing Facts 

Recognizing that connecting the public with the right information about blood disorders is vital, ASH launched the Blood Health Information Hub to provide accurate, reliable, and trustworthy information on blood disorders.
