Badge Pickup

Reporters may pick up their registration badges at any of the pick-up locations, including the press room, but must pick up their press credentials in the press room. Reporters are encouraged to pick up their press credentials on Friday, as the press briefings begin early Saturday morning.

All times are listed in Pacific time. These hours also indicate when staff will be available to assist reporters attending virtually.

Press Room Location and Contacts

The Press Complex will have remote viewing areas available, and all food will be provided in boxed/portable containers for maximum flexibility. Free pedicabs will be available for easy access to the convention center and other hotels.

Press Interview Rooms

Registered media may reserve on-site private interview rooms during press room hours. All interviews are scheduled in half-hour increments for up to two hours per day. Use of these rooms is by appointment only and subject to availability. Each room is equipped with an ASH step-and-repeat, table, and chairs. FILMING IN THE CONVENTION CENTER

A designated filming location in the San Diego Convention Center is located in the Room 32 foyer. Film crews must receive prior approval and receive a camera tag at media registration check-in on site in the press working room located in the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Film crews may film throughout the Convention Center and must display their camera tags at all time. Registered media must follow the official ASH annual meeting policy on photography and recording of copyrighted material that applies to all attendees.

VIRTUAL PLATFORM ACCESS

As a registered media attendee, you will have access to the annual meeting virtual platform when it opens on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:00 a.m. Pacific time (9:00 a.m. Eastern time). Bookmark https://annualmeeting.hematology.org for quick access. 

To log in to the platform, you will need the ASH username and password you used to register for the meeting. Once on the platform, you will have access to all attendee areas of the platform and press materials through February 1, 2025. 

For the best user experience and streaming quality, we recommend using Google Chrome. The platform is also supported by Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer (“IE 11”) is no longer supported, as videos will not play. You may contact ASH if you have difficulty accessing the platform or have any other questions.
