ASH Hematology Inclusion Pathway Fund
Diversification in the health care workforce increases access to care and the quality of the medical experience for minority patients. Yet, despite an increasing recognition of the need for a diverse biomedical research workforce, many obstacles still impede the successful recruitment and retention of underrepresented groups in the field of hematology.
The ASH Hematology Inclusion Pathway promotes increased diversity in the hematology workforce through multiple awards designed to support both early-career trainees and established hematologists. Through these programs, the Society aims to increase participation in biomedical research and representation on medical school faculties and in clinical hematology practices.
