Treating Fairly
Treating Fairly is a new ASH initiative that aims to address hematologic health disparities through prioritized research, educational, and patient care goals. To treat fairly means delivering the highest standard of care to every individual, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status.
Supported by the ASH Treating Fairly Taskforce, Committee on Quality, and its Subcommittee on Stewardship and Systems-based Hematology, ASH will publish a list of highest priority areas for advancing population health for the hematologic community. The list may identify key opportunities for future ASH programming and highlight successful quality improvement activities.
