Career Mentorship

Having the right mentor can make a world of difference for a hematologist’s career trajectory. Mentorship positions give you the opportunity to make a positive impact on next generation of hematologists.

ASH Hematology Inclusion Pathway

The ASH Hematology Inclusion Pathway (HIP), successor to the ASH Minority Recruitment Initiative (MRI), aims to increase participation of underrepresented groups in hematology. It provides a 13-year career pathway of awards, fostering participation from prospective hematologists of all career stages in academic and research roles. Mentorship opportunities are available! Visit the HIP homepage to learn more.

Women in Hematology Working Group

The Women in Hematology Working Group is a dedicated group of ASH members focused on the needs of women in hematology (WIH). The group is focused on strengthening opportunities for recognition of the contributions of women to the field, providing networking and mentorship opportunities to women at all levels of their careers, and identifying additional opportunities to enhance ASH’s support towards women in hematology. To apply to be a member of the WIH, please fill out this application form.
