Fundamentals for Hematology Fellows

The ASH Fundamentals for Hematology Fellows (FHF) program provides a cost-effective way for trainees enrolled in hematology-related fellowship programs to gain access to the Society's products and services.

FHF runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. Fellowship programs must enroll 100% of their fellows in FHF in order to receive the FHF program benefits. Full payment must be received before FHF enrollment and ASH Associate membership are considered active. Please allow sufficient time for processing to ensure all memberships are active when ASH annual meeting registration opens in mid-July.

Registration and hotel access for the ASH Annual Meeting opens exclusively for ASH members in mid-July through mid-August. For fellows to take advantage of early registration and housing, FHF enrollment and payment must be completed. If fellows register for the Annual Meeting before their FHF benefits are active, ASH will not be able to refund registration fees.

Enrollment for FHF is now closed. Enrollment for the 2027 - 2028 academic year will begin in mid April 2027.

Please read carefully: To access the trainee enrollment center, you will need to have an ASH Account. If you do not have an ASH Account, please create a new account. If you have an ASH Account, but do not remember your login information, reset your password from the signin page. Only Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and Program Coordinators have access to the ASH Trainee Enrollment Center. Enrolling Trainees in ASH Fundamentals for Hematology Fellows

Support your trainees through the completion of their fellowship and help them prepare for board exams by giving them access to valuable ASH benefits. Enroll current and incoming fellows in FHF at the cost of $200 per fellow.

Please note that, while credit card transactions are processed immediately, payments by check or ACH require additional time. Many institutions have their own internal approval and payment procedures that can add several weeks to the overall timeline, especially when sending checks by mail. FHF benefits will not go into effect until payment has been received and processed by ASH, so program coordinators should plan accordingly.

Accessing Your ASH Fundamentals for Hematology Fellows Benefits

Access to FHF benefits begins July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year. Fellows completing the training program in June will receive FHF benefits through December of their graduating year.

Each fellow enrolled in FHF receives:

ASH Associate membership
Complimentary ASH meeting registration (or access to recorded sessions for one ASH meeting) per academic year
Discounted price for the ASH Hematology In-Service Exam
