Air Travel and Discounts

Global Travel Associates is the official travel agency for the 2026 ASH Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. Reservations are ticketed and each attendee receives an emailed invoice and e-ticket receipt. A service fee is added for a ticketed reservation.

United Airlines* and Delta Airlines**, in cooperation with ASH and Global Travel Associates, are offering special airfare rates reflecting discounts of up to 10% off published fares to the 2026 ASH Annual Meeting. Be sure to reference the special meetings file numbers below when making reservations to ensure that you receive these special discounts. Global Travel Associates will compare the discounts offered by United and Delta with other airline fares to provide ASH annual meeting attendees with the best pricing options based on individual needs.

Car Rental Discounts

Hertz is providing a 20% discount off retail rates for the annual meeting. When booking online, enter CDP 1921593 under the discount code when making the reservation.

Public Transportation

The city of New Orleans has an extensive bus service to help get you anywhere you need to go. Visit the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority for detailed information.

A taxi ride from the airport to the convention center is billed at a flat rate of $36 per ride for up to two passengers; for three or more people, the rides are billed at $15 per passenger. Taxis in general cost about $2 per mile.

Parking

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center owns and operates multiple parking lots located on the south end of the Convention Center across from Halls H, I and J.  The current daily parking rate is $23 per vehicle and $42 per oversized vehicle with no in and out privileges. They are all cashless venues. Parking fees are paid through the ParkMobile app.

Shuttle Bus Service

ASH will provide complimentary shuttle service between most hotels in the ASH housing block and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Shuttles will run during the hours listed below. Service frequency will vary throughout the day. Look for detailed shuttle bus schedules in your hotel lobby.

Visitor Safety

To stay safe during your visit to New Orleans, please follow the tips provided below:

• Remove your ASH meeting badge when exploring the city.
• Always lock your front and/or patio doors. Use the safety chain/lock for security.
• Never open your room door unless you know who is there. If you did not call for the hotel service offered by the person at the door, call hotel security or the front desk to see if they have sent someone to your room.
• Place valuables in a safety deposit box in your room or at the hotel office. Do not leave valuables in your car.
• When checking into a hotel, consult the floor plan on the back of your room door to familiarize yourself with fire and emergency exits.
• Never hand your phone to anyone who you don’t know for any reason, including providing a rideshare driver with directions or asking someone to take your photo.
