ASH Research Awards Fund

Imagine that you or your loved one is diagnosed with a blood disease. A lifeline of hope is the promise of research – knowing that the world’s preeminent scientists are creatively working in laboratories and collaborating with the best, brightest researching minds to develop new, targeted therapies and ultimately, to find a cure. ASH provides valuable financial support every year, through the research awards listed below, to sustain and advance hematologic research worldwide. This includes funding promising research by hematology professionals and trainees at various career stages. Often, this vital research might not otherwise be accomplished.

The ASH Scholar Award had a tremendous impact on my career. It greatly assisted with my transition to independence by providing concrete funds that I could use to start my lab. It was also emotionally very rewarding because it represented a commitment from the premier organization in hematology.
