Annual Meeting App FAQs

Browse the frequently asked questions below to get the most out of the ASH annual meeting app.

The app allows users to view the complete ASH annual meeting program, the full text of all annual meeting abstracts, articles from Hematology, the ASH Education Program (available only to registered meeting attendees), maps of the convention center, and other general meeting information. The app also provides detailed information on all annual meeting sessions, exhibitors, and events, allows users to create personalized meeting itineraries, and provides a messaging function for users to communicate with other annual meeting attendees in real time.

From the Now Screen, tap on “Program & Topics.” This will give you the ability to view the full program or browse sessions by topic.

From the Now Screen, tap on “Program & Topics,” then tap on "View Full Program," and then "All Sessions at a Glance" (appears at the top of the list). Tap on the selected day to display the scheduled sessions. The screen will refresh as a new day is selected.

From the Now Screen, tap on “Program & Topics.” You will see an alphabetical listing of the program types offered at the meeting. Tap on the program type, then tap on each day to view a list of available sessions.

From the session detail, there is a circle icon in the upper left corner. Tap to see ongoing sessions near the location of the session being viewed. You can also go to the Schedule icon at the bottom of the screen. Blocks of time are identified by color based on the program type. Tapping on each will give you a list of sessions going on for the program type for that time block.

Select the specific session to get more information. It will take you to the session detail that provides a description, chairs or moderators for the session, information about each presenter, session titles, and any abstracts if available.

Select the session to view the details, and then tap on the calendar icon (the first icon in the upper right corner).

 

At the bottom of the screen, you will see the Schedule icon. Tap to see sessions that you added to your calendar as well as activity blocks by program type.

 

From the Now Screen, select “Oral Abstracts” or “Poster Abstracts.”

 

Tap the More icon at the bottom of the screen, and then select "Exhibitors" to see exhibitors displayed alphabetically. The search screen will allow you to type the company name to do a specific search.

 

At the bottom of the screen, you will see the More icon. Tap to see other information provided. Tap on “Messaging”. A list of attendees who have created a log-in when building their itinerary is displayed. The search screen will allow you to type the name of the person you would like to message. Only attendees who have logged into the app and enabled the messaging functionality will be displayed in the search results.

 

At the bottom of the screen, you will see a More icon. Tap to see other information provided. Tap on “Registration and Expo Details.”

You may also see where a meeting is located by going to the session (“Program & Topics”) and tapping on the Map It icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
