ASH provides a variety of resources and services for annual meeting attendees, including first-time attendees, trainees, international travelers, parents, federal employees, and persons with disabilities. ASH Booth
Stop by the ASH Booth (#1333) in the exhibit hall to learn about the Society’s resources and opportunities for hematologists at all career levels. ASH staff will be available to answer questions about ASH meetings, resources, and initiatives and to assist with membership applications and renewals.
Be sure to pick up a giveaway and the most recent issues of ASH publications, including Blood, Blood Advances, The Hematologist, and ASH Clinical News – and don't forget to ask about product discounts available exclusively at the annual meeting.
ASH Store
ASH offers a variety of products to aid hematologists in their professional development. Stop by the ASH Store in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center’s Hall F to browse the latest ASH educational products, which will be available for a discounted on-site rate, including:
- ASH Self-Assessment Program (ASH-SAP), 8th Edition
- How I Treat 2022: A Compendium for the Practicing Hematologist
- Hematology 2022, the ASH Education Program
- ASH annual meeting webcasts
Attendees will also be able to apply for or renew their membership at the ASH Store.
Network and Collaborate
Reserve a collaboration room, regroup with colleagues, and discover special lounges available for ASH Foundation donors and trainees.
Collaboration Rooms
Small conference rooms for 10 to 20 people will be available for attendees to meet in a more private space to better facilitate networking and collaboration. Rooms will be pre-set with a conference table and chairs, a flat screen monitor, and cables to connect laptops. Each attendee will be limited to one 45-minute reservation per day.
Reservations may also be made on site in ASH Central or through the annual meeting mobile app. Please note that space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Back-to-back reservations are prohibited, and no catering or additional audio-visual equipment is permitted.
Collaboration rooms are intended for non-commercial attendees (physicians, researchers, etc.) to meet with each other. They are not designed nor available for industry representatives to conduct meetings of a commercial nature. Industry is welcome to request ancillary event space or exhibitor meeting rooms.
Hematology MeetUps
Multiple seating areas with tables and chairs will be placed in the lobby areas of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to enable attendees to meet one another for informal, impromptu conversations and small meetings. Look for "Hematology MeetUp" areas designated on the campus map to find the nearest location.
ASH Foundation Donor Lounge
Gifts of all amounts to the ASH Foundation are always helpful and appreciated. With cumulative annual giving of $250 or more, you can access the ASH Foundation Donor Lounge during the annual meeting.
In addition, individuals with cumulative annual giving of $2,500 or more for December 1, 2021 through November 30, 2022 will receive an invitation to the President’s Reception in recognition of their support at that level. Finally, qualified donors are eligible for a selection of time-sensitive benefits associated with the registration process for the ASH annual meeting. The Donor Lounge will be located in Ma Maison, above the atrium food court, accessible through the Hall C Lobby.
Trainee Lounge
Trainees are invited to visit the Trainee Lounge located in ASH Central (Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall F) to meet with colleagues and recharge with complimentary refreshments. Only those with a blue trainee badge will be permitted.

Photo Zone
Capture the excitement of the annual meeting with your friends and colleagues by taking a photo in the ASH photo zone, located in ASH Central (Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall F). Various props and backdrops will be available and will change daily.
Treadmills and Stationary Bikes
Watch specific sessions and get your blood flowing by taking advantage of the treadmills and stationary bikes located in the ASH Live: Remote Session Viewing area in ASH Central (Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall F).

Coat and Baggage Check
ASH annual meeting attendees may check coats and bags for at one of the following coat check locations at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center:
- Mosaic Room, Lobby A, Level 1
- Lobby G/I, Level 1
Free Wi-Fi
ASH is pleased to offer internet access to all attendees in public lobbies and meeting rooms at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, as well as at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. This complimentary service is provided to support annual meeting activities requiring internet access, web browsing, and email connectivity.
Wi-Fi Zone for 2.4 GHz Devices
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center operates on the newer 5.0 GHz wireless spectrum. ASH understands many of our international attendees have devices that only operate on the 2.4 GHz wireless spectrum. Therefore, ASH will also offer a 2.4 GHz zone for annual meeting attendees with phones and tablets that are unable to connect to the convention center 5.0 Ghz Wi-Fi.
Services for Persons With Disabilities
ASH is committed to offering an accessible meeting environment for persons with disabilities. During the annual meeting registration process, please indicate any assistance you may require, and ASH staff will contact you to discuss your specific needs.
For persons requiring mobility assistance, ASH recommends Scootaround Mobility Solutions for rental of mobility scooters. Please reserve at least two weeks in advance by calling 888-441-7575.
ASH has partnered with Kushner & Associates for wheelchair-accessible ASH shuttles from hotels on the shuttle route. Please see the ASH shuttle supervisor at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during shuttle hours or make advance arrangements by phone. Information Desks
Convention center staff will be available at information desks throughout the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to provide assistance with brochures and maps, lost and found, wheelchair service, and information about the location of key ASH meeting areas.
FedEx Office Business Center
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center business centers are located in the International Boulevard Concourse between Buildings A and B and in Hall C Lobby. The business centers are run by FedEx Office and provides full-service business needs, including photocopying, faxing, and printing services, as well as the ability to print posters. Office supplies are also available for purchase.
ATMs
Automated teller machines (ATMs) are available in the following locations at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, debit cards, and gift cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo are accepted.
Resources for Parents
Child Care
Child care at the ASH Annual Meeting is free!
To help support parents attending the annual meeting, ASH has made arrangements with KiddieCorp to provide free child care services at the meeting beginning on Friday, December 9, through Tuesday, December 13. KiddieCorp staff members are bonded and trained child care specialists. Snacks, light meals, and beverages will be provided each day.
For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the exhibit hall or poster hall. Additionally, ASH prohibits children and infants in sessions, as they may distract the speakers and other attendees.

Nursing Mothers’ Rooms
Dedicated lounges will be available for nursing mothers in safe, accessible areas throughout the convention center. Each nursing mothers’ lounge will provide a private, comfortable area equipped with lockable doors, furniture, and power outlets to use for pumping sessions during the ASH annual meeting. For exact room locations, please refer to the annual meeting app or to the printed ASH Campus Map on site.
A refrigerator will be available in the child-care room (room 383-385) for safe storage.

Need a new professional headshot? Get one for free at Headshot Alley, located in ASH Central in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Hall F during ASH Central open hours on Friday through Tuesday. Your headshot will be sent to you via email for immediate downloading.
