63rd ASH Annual Meeting FAQs

This page will be updated on a continuous basis. If your question is not answered below, please contact us.

This year’s annual meeting will be available both in person and online concurrently. The hybrid meeting format enables attendees to access pre-recorded sessions on-demand and watch the live streaming of the in-person sessions – either in real time remotely, or later on demand. Registrants for the in-person meeting will also have access to the virtual platform, which opens on December 8 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Similarly, some speakers will be presenting in person in Atlanta, while others will be presenting remotely, and the presentations will be blended seamlessly for both the virtual and in-person audiences.

All registered attendees for the ASH annual meeting will have access to the virtual platform when it opens on Wednesday, December 8, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time for Preview Days (December 8-10). Bookmark https://annualmeeting.hematology.org to ensure quick access.

To log in, use the same unique ASH username that you used to register for the meeting. If you have forgotten your password, the quickest way to retrieve it is by clicking here to reset your password. For the best user experience and streaming quality, we recommend using Google Chrome. The platform is also supported by Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer 11 (“IE 11”) is no longer supported, as videos on the platform will not play. You may contact us if you have difficulty accessing the platform or any other questions.

To ensure the safety of all attendees, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for registrants attending the 2021 ASH Annual Meeting in person in Atlanta, Georgia. New this year: All attendees must register in advance online; there will be no in-person registration counters. It is also required that you upload proof of vaccination prior to arriving at the convention center in order to get your green health pass, which will allow you to access the meeting. Learn more and get verified.

When you arrive at the convention center for the first time, you must show your green health pass and ID at vaccination verification checkpoints prior to picking up your badge at the general registration desk. You will not be permitted to access the meeting, or events associated with the annual meeting, until you have gone through vaccination verification and badge pick-up. Please check the registration desk hours and plan accordingly.

Yes. The in-person meeting will feature a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions. Select pre-recorded sessions should be viewed on the platform on demand prior to the interactive, live Q&A with the speakers, which will take place on site at scheduled times. During the live Q&A, attendees can pose questions and engage in scientific discussion in real time. These sessions will also be accessible on demand through the virtual meeting platform after the session concludes.

ASH will provide lunch on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in the Exhibit Hall, which will feature “grab and go” style sandwiches or salads. Designated seating areas are available throughout the Exhibit Hall and ASH has secured more-than-ample outdoor seating spaces around the Georgia World Congress Center for attendees who might want to take a mask break while eating outdoors.
