Jak in the Brain: An Incidental Hematologic Malignancy Diagnosed From a Metastatic Lung Adenocarcinoma by Next Generation Sequencing

Notably, molecular testing to the cerebral biopsy sample demonstrated a JAK2 mutation. The mutation was also found in a peripheral blood sample prompting further workup that led to the diagnosis of myelofibrosis.
