Clinical Hematology Updates with a Focus on Lymphoid Malignancies
Explore the newest developments in malignant hematology and hear updates on non-malignant issues. Plan to attend the 2014 ASH® State-of-the-Art Symposium to review recent clinical research, preview what is on the horizon, and learn how these findings will improve hematology patient care.
About the Meeting
The one-and-a-half-day program provides up-to-date, evidence-based continuing medical education. It is designed to provide attendees with an update on advances in the treatment of blood cancers and hematologic diseases with the intent of addressing educational gaps, improving competence in daily hematology practice, and exploring new therapeutic options for patients.
The ASH State-of-the-Art Symposium (SAS) is a clinically focused program presented in a smaller meeting format that provides attendees with ample opportunities to discuss their actual patient cases and practice challenges with experts in the field. Additionally, in order to enhance the exchange of program content, panel discussions and “Lunch with the Experts” are included in the meeting.
A special Consultative Hematology Course (CHC) will take place on the Friday morning before each of the meetings. While the half-day course in Baltimore will cover consultative practice issues focusing on non-malignant hematology, the course in Chicago will focus on hematologic malignancies.
