CAP Updates in Fee Schedule Final Rule

November 3, 2005 – The fee schedule final rule includes updates to the Competitive Acquisition Program (CAP) related to establishing processes for vendors, updating the list of CAP drugs to incorporate recent changes in the marketplace, and reminding physicians that the CAP is a voluntary program for physicians. Vendor bidding on the CAP is expected to resume when the final rule is published in the Federal Register, which is expected on November 21.
