Clinical advances in allogeneic transplantation have led to expanded patient eligibility, improved outcomes, and dramatic growth. This session will focus on new research that defines when transplantation should be considered, whether outcomes are different between related and unrelated donors, the current state of HLA matching, and insight into the future. Clinicians will be provided with a translational approach to determining patient eligibility, the appropriate timing of transplantation, and ultimately improving survival outcomes.
