CME Credits
Accreditation The American Society of Hematology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
The American Society of Hematology designates this educational activity for a maximum of 37.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Physicians not licensed in the U.S. who participate in this CME activity are also eligible for AMA Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA) Category 1 Credits.
Educational Objectives Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Employ the knowledge gained regarding the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant hematologic disorders to improve patient care
- Discuss state-of-the-art research in hematology
- Analyze the potential contribution of novel, not-yet-approved modalities of therapy to current evidence-based management of hematologic disorders
How to Obtain CME A processing fee of $25 will be charged for CME certificates. If you plan to claim CME credit for attending the meeting, you must indicate this by checking the appropriate box on the meeting registration form.
Attendees may complete their CME evaluations on site using the Message Center by selecting “CME program” or via the ASH Web site by clicking the CME link. CME evaluations must be completed by March 31, 2007.
Certificates of Attendance
Physicians who do not require AMA Category 1 Credit, as well as other health-care professionals attending the meeting, may request a certificate of attendance on site at the CME desk. There is no charge to meeting registrants for this service.
