Oral and Poster Sessions
Duplication/recording is prohibited.
Abstracts selected for oral and poster presentations feature cutting-edge research and are considered the best of the thousands submitted for the 2005 ASH Annual Meeting. Posters will be displayed in the Georgia World Congress Center in Hall B4 and available for viewing at the times listed. Meeting attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the abstract authors to discuss their research and ask them questions during the presentation times listed.
A detailed schedule listing individual oral and poster abstract presentations will be printed in the On-Site Program Book. This schedule, as well as the full abstracts, will also be printed in a special issue of ASH’s scientific journal Blood, mailed to all ASH members, Blood subscribers, and meeting pre-registrants in mid-November. In addition, this information will be provided online in early November and accessible from the ASH Web site.

Poster Abstract Review Kiosk
For your convenience, poster kiosks will be located in the Willow Garden area, near Room B214 on the second floor of the Building B on the way to the poster hall (Hall B4) during the annual meeting. These computer stations will allow users to search all of the abstracts to locate posters of interest before entering the poster hall. The database will also contain information about other types of sessions, so users may search for any annual meeting presentation by author, title, session, or key word. We hope registrants will find this new feature to be a useful tool in helping to navigate the variety of groundbreaking research presented at the meeting.
ASH Offers Poster Creation Service
Call4Posters allows authors whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation to create and format their posters online or upload an already-created poster in PDF or PowerPoint format. ASH has contracted with Marathon Multimedia to provide this service, in which posters are printed as a single sheet (various sizes available) and delivered directly to the annual meeting for on-site pickup, or to the author’s address (if preferred). Detailed information about this service will be included in the abstract acceptance letters sent to authors in early October.
