Considering Membership?
With ASH’s broad range of member benefits, you’re sure to find something that fits your needs. We invite you to visit the booth and ask questions about all areas of the organization – including education, training, advocacy, and membership. Staff members from the Society’s headquarters will be available to answer your questions. At the booth, you can also:

Are You an Aspiring Hematologist?
An important part of ASH’s mission is to actively encourage burgeoning scientists and practitioners to pursue careers in hematology. In fulfilling that commitment, the Society offers a variety of educational resources and opportunities designed specifically for trainees and hematologists considering a career in the field. At the booth, you can:
- View online demonstrations of some of our most popular educational products, including the ASH Teaching Cases and the ASH Image Bank.
- Flip through the newly-updated second edition of the ASH Self-Assessment Program (ASH-SAP) to review the latest advances in adult and pediatric hematology.
- Purchase copies of the ASH State-of-the-Art Symposia CD-ROMs for presentations on recent clinical breakthroughs.
- Pick up brochures to learn about the ASH Scholar Awards Program, the Minority Medical Student Award Program, and the Clinical Research Training Institute. Every year, ASH gives away nearly $2 million in awards to hematologists in the early stages of their careers. Find out how you can take advantage of these valuable programs.
BLOOD BOOTH
Visit the Blood booth to view the latest print copy of Blood, the world’s leading journal in basic and applied hematology research. Pick up a copy of an “Inside Blood” reprint, the journal’s collection of succinct interpretive reviews of high-impact articles, many of which hold promise for future clinical application.
Learn more about Blood’s First Edition Papers, the early online posting of accepted manuscripts available three months prior to the traditional print publication. Find out how to use e-alerts for new content that is of interest to you, or ask for a demonstration of the journal site’s amazing new searching capabilities, which exceed those of PubMed!
The exhibit booth will be staffed by members of the Blood’s publishing team, who will be eager to hear your comments and answer your questions.
ASH SELF-ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (ASH-SAP)/IMAGE BANK BOOTH

In addition to the two comprehensive print volumes, the ASH-SAP includes an interactive online component that links to other educational resources. The multiple-choice questions will help pinpoint areas where further study is needed. ASH-SAP users can also claim 50 Category 1 CME credits.
