This half-day workshop, taking place at the ASH annual meeting, is designed to support and encourage trainees in the field of academic hematology and to enhance their career development. This program will be presented through didactic and interactive small-group breakout sessions that will provide attendees with abundant time for discussion, questions, and answers.

Four-Year Curriculum
Trainee Day is a structured, but flexible, four-year program. Its preliminary curriculum was designed to capture the trajectory of a trainee’s career and to provide expert advice to trainees in the areas of grant writing, securing funding, and establishing a research career. Additional popular topics may be included in the curriculum based on feedback received from trainees attending 2008 Trainee Day at the 50th ASH Annual Meeting.
