I. HISTORY
Patient Presentation
A four-year-old male with Hemoglobin SS is admitted to the hospital with abdominal pain and fever. Two days ago, he was treated in the emergency room for abdominal pain with Oxycodone. Despite taking the pain medication every four hours, the pain has persisted.
