VI. PROGNOSIS/CLINICAL COURSE

Below is a description of the Ann Arbor lymphoma stage classifications. This is the staging system in common use for Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Using this system, what is the patient’s current stage?

IITwo lymph node areas involved on one side of the diaphragm
IIIInvolvement of lymph nodes (or spleen) on both sides of the diaphragm
IVDisseminated extranodal involvement
ANo “B” symptoms
BPresence of fevers, drenching night sweats, or unintentional loss of 10% of body weight in the preceding six months
