It's all true. Dr.
Ernst R. Jaffé was a gentleman, a gentle soul, dedicated to his family, Albert
Einstein College of Medicine, Blood, ASH, old friends and to people who needed
him. I worked for him when he was the Dean of the Albert Einstein College of
Medicine and it was a privilege. When my father became ill with Alzheimer's
years later, he helped where he could.
