ASH Members Elected to Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science

The Institute of Medicine (IOM) has announced the election of 70 new members, including three ASH members. Election to the IOM is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service.

The three ASH members elected to the IOM are:

Associate Vice President of the Academic Health Center;
Director, Clinical and Translational Science Institute; and
Director, Center for Translational Medicine at the University of Minnesota

Richard W. Vague Professor in Immunotherapy,
Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and
Director, Translational Research Program at the
Abramson Cancer Center at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania
