CMS Coverage Decision on Pharmacogenomic Testing for Warfarin Response –
Consistent With ASH Recommendations
The Centers for Medicare
& Medicaid Services (CMS) posted a decision memo noting that the available
evidence does not demonstrate that pharmacogenomic testing to predict warfarin
responsiveness improves health outcomes in Medicare beneficiaries, but the
available evidence supports that Coverage With Evidence Development is

ASH has objected to a provision of the House health reform bill (HR
3200) that would require the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to

The RAC Program continues to gear up with the CMS timeline showing that some states may have already begun
automated reviews. CMS is responding to

Flags Rule for Physicians Further Delayed by FTC
The Federal Trade Commission has once again delayed
the implementation of its ruling that would consider physicians who regularly
