for Medicare & Medicaid Services released a large set of data about
the payments physicians and teaching hospitals received from pharmaceutical and
medical device companies from August 1 to December 31, 2013.

American Society of Hematology (ASH) today announced the names of the 21
hematology trainees selected to participate in the 12th annual ASH Clinical
Research Training Institute (CRTI).
This education and mentorship program is designed to prepare current hematology
and hematology/oncology fellows and junior faculty for careers in
patient-oriented clinical research.

The American Society of Hematology (ASH), the world's largest professional organization dedicated to the causes and treatments of blood disorders, today endorsed a new evidence-based expert panel report on the management of sickle cell disease published by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) aimed at improving the care of patients with sickle cell disease (SCD).
