The ASH Advocacy Leadership Institute is scheduled to take place on October 12-13, 2011, in Washington, DC, and will be a unique opportunity for ASH members to learn about legislation and health policy affecting hematology.

Participants will receive intense training in policy-making process and advocacy. Sessions will feature guest speakers from the Congress, the Administration, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other health agency officials. Participants will conclude the program with visits to their Congressional delegation on Capitol Hill.

Deadline for nominations has now passed. Participants will be notified by the end of August.
