Graduate and Medical Student Membership

You are eligible to apply if you

  • are a graduate or medical student,
  • reside in Canada, Mexico, or the United States, and
  • enrolled in a biomedical graduate program in North America leading to the awarding of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree, or a medical school that is accredited by the recognized national accrediting entity and is leading to the awarding of an MD, DO, or equivalent doctoral degree

Application deadline

ASH Graduate/Medical Student membership applications are considered on a rolling basis. However, please note that it takes 2-3 weeks to process these applications.

You will need the following information in order to complete your application:

  • Academic history
  • Work experience
  • Curriculum vitae
  • A letter on school letterhead from your Dean or Program Director certifying your enrollment in the program, indicating the type of program, and specifying the expected graduation date
