Active Membership

You are eligible to apply if you

  • have a doctoral degree or its equivalent,
  • have manifested interest in any discipline important to hematology as evidenced by work in the field, original contributions, and attendance at meetings concerning hematology, and
  • reside in Canada, Mexico, or the United States

You will pay

$350 annual fee

Prepayment is required to apply for ASH membership. Payment made at the time of online application submission will be applied towards your first year of dues.

Membership dues are paid annually and cover the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31. ASH members are required to renew their memberships for each year in succession. Those who let their memberships lapse must pay their dues for the lapsed year(s) or re-apply according to the schedule above in order to have their memberships reinstated.


Application deadline

The Executive Committee considers ASH Active membership applications twice per year. The deadlines for receipt of completed Active membership applications are March 1, for consideration in spring, and August 1, for consideration during the Annual Meeting in December.

Active applications received by August 1 will not be approved prior to the annual meeting. Resulting memberships will begin the following January.
