Program Description

This webinar provided a practical, case-based discussion of common thrombotic complications presented from the perspectives of both the hematologist and the obstetrician. The webinar's unique format reflected the structure of a multidisciplinary patient care conference held quarterly at the presenters’ institution. The expertise that each specialty brings to the care of the pregnant patient and the fundamental advantages of coordinated decision-making were emphasized. Evidence-based presentations highlighted the intersection of hematologic and obstetric patient care.
