The American Society of Hematology (ASH) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

CME and Certificates of Attendance

ASH is accredited to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to physicians only. The American Medical Association (AMA) defines physicians as those individuals who have obtained an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from another country.

Physicians not licensed in the United States who participate in the CME activity are also eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Non-physicians and other health care professionals may request a certificate of attendance to document their participation in an accredited activity.

Maintenance of Certification

Participation in a CME activity enables the participant to earn American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points equivalent to the number of CME credits claimed for the activity.
