CME, MOC, and Certificate of Attendance
The American Society of Hematology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
CME Credit and Certificate of Attendance
ASH designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ASH is accredited to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to physicians only. The American Medical Association (AMA) defines physicians as those individuals who have obtained an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from another country. Physicians not licensed in the United States who participate in this CME activity are also eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Non-physicians and other health care professionals attending the meeting may receive a Certificate of Attendance to document their participation in an accredited activity.
To claim CME credit or request a Certificate of Attendance, attendees must complete the online program evaluation surveys through ASH Academy. Instructions can be found in the printed program provided at the meeting.
ABIM MOC Points
Participation in this CME activity enables attendees to earn American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points. Attendees will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
To claim ABIM MOC points, attendees must complete the online program evaluation surveys through ASH Academy. During the survey, attendees will be asked to submit a reflective statement on intention to change practice based on the knowledge gained from participation in the meeting. Upon review and approval of the statement, points will be submitted to the ABIM by ASH.
