Please note the change in location of the 2016 Highlights of ASH in Latin America program from Natal, Brazil to Porto Alegre, Brazil. The dates will remain the same: April 29-30, 2016.

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) and Associação Brasileira de Hematologia, Hemoterapia e Terapia Celular (ABHH), in consultation with working groups and other medical professionals in the region, have decided to move the meeting to Porto Alegre, located in the southeastern part of Brazil, in response to various travel advisories throughout the region related to recent reports of Zika virus. In an abundance of caution, the organizers felt it was most prudent to relocate the meeting to an area with a cooler climate and lower prevalence of mosquitos for the safety of all attendees.

If you have already registered for the meeting in Natal and wish to attend the meeting in Porto Alegre, no further action is required. If you have already registered (prior to February 19) but need to change your travel arrangements or wish cancel your participation in the meeting, please contact customerservice@hematology.org.
