Begin your day in a fun, healthy, and philanthropic way by participating in the 13th annual ASH Foundation Run/Walk before attending the sessions on Sunday, December 13. Participants may run or walk, choosing either a 3K or 5K route.

Not attending in person this year? Don’t worry! You can still support the Foundation by choosing your own virtual 3K or 5K route.

Run/Walk registration opens on July 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.

#Fight4Hematology

Join ASH in the #Fight4Hematology by participating in the 13th annual ASH Foundation Run/Walk.

Proceeds from all individual and group registration fees as well as additional individual donations will benefit the ASH Greatest Needs Fund, which is currently focused on supporting ASH awards, ensuring ASH members can continue their vital work.

ASH and the ASH Foundation may opt to designate a portion of or all corporate sponsorship revenues associated with the run/walk to help support the cost of administering the event.

Run/Walk Registration

Race registration for both experiences opens July 8 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time and closes on December 12 when ASH Central closes.

There will be no race-day registration available.

Registration Rates

Individual	$75
Trainee (those with blue Trainee badge holders)	$50

In-person participants may collect their race bib and T-shirt (if preregistered by 5 p.m. on November 6) on site in advance of the event at the Race Registration Counter located in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall B Lobby. The counter will be open during ASH on-site registration hours from Thursday, December 10 through Saturday, December 12.

Run/Walk Schedule and Race Route

The ASH Foundation Run/Walk (in-person experience) will start and finish outside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center along Julia Street and Convention Center Way. The course will traverse along the Riverwalk and through Woldenberg Park and back again. Further details will be available closer to the event date.

All times listed reflect the Central time zone.

7:00 a.m.	Arrivals and Meet-Ups with Colleagues or Teams
7:15 a.m.	Warm-Up
7:30 a.m.	Race Starts
8:30 a.m.	Race Ends (approximately at 8:30 a.m. or when the last participant finishes)

Virtual Run/Walk Schedule

The virtual ASH Foundation Run/Walk will be held from Sunday, December 6, through Sunday, December 20, ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

Virtual participants receive a digital bib (no T-shirt) to display on their social media feed proudly (be sure to use #ASHRunWalk and #ASH26!).

Fundraising

By participating in the run/walk, either in person or virtually, you have a fantastic opportunity to invite your friends and family to donate to the ASH Foundation. One hundred percent of charitable donations to the ASH Foundation directly benefit programs sponsored by ASH and are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
