Applicants may choose to apply for one of the following project options:

  • Summer project: to be conducted over a maximum of three months
  • Flexible project: to be conducted over a span of three to 12 months

Program participants receive a $5,000 stipend to support their work on a hematology-related research project, as well as a $1,000 travel allowance each year for two years to support attendance at the ASH annual meeting, starting with the year the award is received.
