About the Course

The half-day program will be led by faculty familiar with consultative practice issues and cover commonly encountered clinical problems that require the expertise of a hematologist engaging participants in case-based presentations and discussions. This special course will take place on the Friday morning before each of the SAS meetings. The course in Baltimore will cover consultative practice issues focusing on non-malignant hematology, the course in Chicago will focus on hematologic malignancies.

The American Society of Hematology designates the malignant hematology CHC course in Chicago for a maximum of 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ , and the non-malignant hematology CHC courses in Baltimore and San Francisco for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
